MSNBC Ad from Harper's Magazine

The above image is an MSNBC ad in Harper’s Magazine. If the charade of objectivity hasn’t completely shattered, it is in tatters. Personally, I’m happy for them. I have no problem with MSNBC being a liberal network that reads from the DNC’s script as long as they are honest about it.

Of course, they probably need a new slogan. Obama’s presidency now makes up a considerable portion of “the last ten years.”

Occupy Charlotte’s Anti-ALEC Fail

by Erik on 12 May 2012

Occupy Charlotte Protest's ALEC

There’s really not much to say about Occupy Charlotte’s anti-ALEC protest.  When I arrived, there were around 18 occupiers on site.  I spoke with the group of police who were there.  They had been there most of the day and said the number of protesters had varied slightly throughout the day, but that was about the most they had seen.

Occupy Charlotte’s website noted the “[m]ost important times for a critical mass are 10am and 4pm.” At 4 PM, there were twelve protesters present.  A couple dozen people, at most; that’s what you’re left with when the bused-in, astroturf crowd that protested Bank of America two days earlier goes home.

Incarcerated Felon Takes 40% of Vote in WV Primary Race Against Obama

May 9, 2012

Embarrassing, that’s the only way to describe this for the Obama campaign.  To add insult to injury, local democrats are running as fast as they can away from the president, and stating they will not vote for him in November.  Personally, I hope Obama has planned campaign stops in the state.  It would be “Wild [...]

Music Video: Michael Moore Covers Bob Dylan’s “Times are A-Changin” for Occupy

May 5, 2012

From it’s early days, Michael Moore has embraced the Occupy Wall Street crowd.  And because Moore is about as far left as you can get, the Occupiers were able to look past his position in the upper echelons of the one percent and accept him as one of their own.  The fruits of this relationship [...]

Occupy Violence in Los Angeles

May 3, 2012

There has been plenty of reporting on how the man pictured above was recorded bashing a small, female police officer in the back of the head with a snare drum. There has been considerably less reporting on this video, which shows how the incident above came about. Based on the interview at the end of [...]
